Innovations in Large Corporations - Startup Sabbatical

Here is the most recent concept about innovation in large corporations - 'Startup Sabbatical' proposed by Yury Lifshits. Yury is a well known young mathematician and lecturer in Russia (currently he holds a researcher position in Yahoo Research in US).

I really like his approach. Yury sees obstacles that corporate giants 'provide' for innovative teams (and that I agree with) while the scheme that he decribes gives the great opportunity for quick start and truly free atmosphere to work and create. Next week Yury will try this approach at a smaller scale (just for 9 days) to start mediaRemake project - a community hub for professionals in media industry. Details will be posted on @mediaRemake.
